I love the way the homage the original (in a good way) by shot for shot recreating the original Lion-O's way of activating the Sword of Omens.

Also, the young man doing new Lion-O is brilliant, and for some reason I can see him swinging a prop sword around in the recording booth.

 

This week's episode sounds interesting:

Season 1, Episode 5 - "Old Friends"
Episode Synopsis: The team search for Thundrilium and learn more about Panthro and Grune's past.

I also just noticed on my Comcast program listing that it has an "S" rating, which means "some sexual situations". I assume that's simply because of Cheetara.

Damn i knew that voice sounded familiar. Especially considering I just wrapped up watching Batman Beyond the series again not too long ago.

The series is hitting all the marks with the last episode being very touching for a one shot story. I hope they can continue the momentum.

Honestly I cried during that episode.

 

I had to bite my tongue and hold back the one tear forming in my right eye cause my wife was looking at me right when Emeric died. I was in my head like fight it, fight IT!!!!!!!!!!

 

Nice comparison of the old and new Lion-O rallying calls. I agree it's cool to see that they replicated Lion-O's sword activation sequence for the new series, tho' Lion-O's "Thunder, Thunder, Thunder" lines are drawn out a bit longer.

Yup. Lion-O = Terry McGinnis/Batman! Will Friedle also voices Ron Stoppable from "Kim Possible" and Blue Beetle from "Batman: The Brave and The Bold".

The young man playing the new Lion-O was once also known as Eric Mathews in Boy Meets World.  

I like how they hinted at a possible relationship developing between Cheetara and Lion-O in the last episode. And for the record, I find this Cheetara to be way more seductive than the original Cheetara. (Who I could never figure out why people made a big deal about her. In the original I just thought she was some tom-boy fighting to help her friends.)

Holy Farts on a Buffalo Wing, I watched Friday's episode last night. I swear my fiance and I were almost in tears, if not so. I love how each episode is a little mini adventure movie in itself. I'm not even a fan of the kitties, but this show has been sweet!

 

Me too, I watched episode 4 yesterday. This is my favourite show right now. Can't wait for newer episodes.
