    I'm not a fan of anime, but I will definitely give this a shot. I hope it has a darker edge to it though.

    I kinda hope they keep all the basics of the old series and just tell new stories with it. The whole set-up and premise of the early episodes was great so I won't be too happy if they jigger with that too much.

    YES!!! Thanks you cartoon gods!

    Next to Transformers, Thundercats was my absolute all time best childhood cartoon. So much of my life's morals and teaching relate back to the days when I would watch Lion-O heroically fight the evil of Mumm-ra. All the while instilling subconscious lessons about Honor, Truth, Justice and Loyalty.

    This is also good news for Cartoon Network going back to being a actual "Cartoon" channel again, and not a MTV clone filled with reality shows for preteens.

    With Thundercats, the new Looney Tunes show, Batman and Clone Wars CN has redeemed itself in my eyes. For now anyways.

    ...err, CN has always shown new cartoons, they just show them on the days they're not showing their cheaply made reality shows.

    They're also getting new live action series btw so it's not like they're changing all that much.

    To be honest I don't hink anyone does as of now because thundercats haven't around since the 80s and no toys have been produce. However on to the topic at hand YES YES YES!!!!!HO! I can't god damn wait for the new series espically if one of the guys behind avatar the last airbender will be a part of it.

    And just 3 days ago in the general discussion I was reading an article about how police had confirmed that the writer of the original Thundercats cartoon was found brutally murdered. Coincidence?
