The perfect haiku would have just two syllables: Airwolf.

Things started out tame, but as the night wore on and the ethanol levels got higher, some Kaiju were asked to leave. Buildings were thrown, tanks were smashed, and comments about Anguris' mother were heard.
The most mysterious part was the "after after dark" portion. This begun at about 11:30 PM and continued until 5:00 AM. Patrons were repotedly sworn to secrecy, but the neighbors talked about overhearing moans, roars, and repeated mention of something called "The Atomic Finisher."
When he awoke in his stately manor at 12:00 noon today, Godzilla was seen walking out of his quarters with Arcee in one arm, Blackarachnia in the other. When asked how the party was, the star commented "Kid, if I told you half the stuff that happened, your head would explode from awesomeness overload."
The only known injury was King Ghidorah, who was found with one broken jaw outside the Diet Building next to a puddle of.... we're not sure. The Thousand-Year-Old Dragon remkarked "It's just a flesh wound." And flew off to do more nefarious bidding.
But really, KG was a nuisance to just about everybody, so no charges are being pressed to any potential suspects.
Overall, Godzilla's 55th Birthday Bash was one to remember, and I hope to attend one in the near future. |
