I watched the original series and loved it. I cant wait for this to start.

I remember the orignal series, it was brutal. I'll watch the 1st episode but from all the ads popping up, it just doesn't seem that cool, like all the action footage in the ads look pointless. Not a whole lot is being shown from it so maybe I'm wrong. I wonder if they're still gonna be horrible lizard people.

 

I dont know but I Hope so. I remember when that girl gave birth to a Lizaed kid and that was back then a Bad Ass Episode.

I am really looking forward in seeing the new series. The only problem I have is I live in the Green Bay area. Since the show starts at 7 pm central, it will be pre-empted with that stupid local g.b. packers program until the season ends in January. I am not going to record the programming on a DVR or even ti-vo. I have to save my money until I find a new job.

I'll give it a watch for a while. I own the original Mini series and TV series DVDs so might as well give this a shot.. I love cheese like this anyway.

 

So is this supposed to be a miniseries or a full blown series?

 

It says Series not Mini Series. I hope that means a Series.

 

They've really been dragging their Feet, I saw the pilot half a year ago now.(Part of a test group)

It was pretty good, but I kept thinking I was watching the 4400 at times. Has a lot of the cast. It left things open, so I'll have to see more episodes before deciding whether I like it or not. I posted a thread about it shortly after I saw it. So if you can find it you'll get more of what my impressions were at the time.

 

Yeah we are starting to get a lot of promotional material here, including one VERY cool one that I can't post about, but I'll post links if it ends up coming through.

 

This may change in the New Version but in the Old one I dont recall hearing a reason as to why the Visitors are always disgused as Humans even onboard their ships with Visitors not even thinking about leaving the ships.

 

I don't think there was a reason given, along with the fact that they spoke English on the ships. I wouldn't think it would take much. Just a quick mention of how they should be completely immersed in the culture to avoid any suspicion.
