Fast reveals but why drag it out because we know the main story. Now give us good character development.
The idea of us blindly buying into the Visitors did bother me a little but also considering the time that we live in with our economy, jobs and global events, I can see how some may reach out for the idea that this might make things better. We must have courage...we can't ignore the danger, we must conquer it. | |

I really want to see if they can pull off another Battlestar hopefully ABC can.
Does anybody remember what network aired the original series back in the day? Just want to know if NBC or CBS are wondering what they let slide. Been awhile since I actually watched any of the big 3 networks during primetime. | |

I would be fine with it, if they actually showed why the world should accept the Visitors with open arms. This isn't just a smooth-talking, good-looking politician. This is an alien race that managed to infiltrate Earth with no warning. It's ignorant to think that so many would just be ok with that. They needed to portray more panic, they needed to show more government involvement.
One military plane crashing, and a room full of people at a church doesn't quite show the magnitude of the situation.
They opened by asking us where we were when JFK was shot, and during 9/11. Those two events pale in comparison with first contact with an alien race, yet they managed to make the world reaction completely underwhelming in comparison.
I saw a Boxing commercial and it said "It's a fight to the finish" Thats a good place to end.

I have proof!" "I hate you mom! You don't understand me! I love her! Whaaaaaaaaaa!").

I'm a SciFi fan and with the dismal showing of Stargate Unvierse (at least IMHO) I'm happy to watch this series instead. I say we give it a few more episodes b4 we want to tank it.
