Wait- WHAT? ok, I've got to lower my anticipation because: 1) It kinda looks cartoony to me as in a fan-made movie (anticipates an angry mob...) and 2) How are they replacing Tony Jay as Megabyte (as I recall, he had the Priniple Office's main control center completely taken over and 'Let the Hunt Begin' does sound like he's gonna be involved in a lot to talking and fighting...) Forgive me for being picky/pessimistic/annoying/troll-ish/whatever-word-you-want-here, I just need to see some more talking roles other than 'Warning Incoming Game' (which sound completely different from the other series). jD001
Isn't Rainmaker the name of the company that's producing it (used to be Mainframe)? It's not like a title or anything, right? Anyway, it's hard to get excited over that tiny teaser, but more Reboot is good.
Yes, Mainframe was purchased by Rainmaker studios. I for one am interested in seeing what they do with it, but worry that too much time has passed for a true sequel, especially given the death of Megabyte's voice actor. Do we know any more information as to who will be involved in this project?
Hopefully it will continue where the series left off. Whatever the story is I hope it is as well written as the original was.
Yeah, but they can't do that this time. Seeing as they will have to replace the VA, I'm hoping it's David Kaye (can you just picture BW Megatron's voice coming out of Megabyte?) probably won't since his in the US but hey, I think the voice would be perfect. jD001
Ian Corlett replaced Bob's original VA in Season 3, when they found him in the Web. He stayed on board through Season 4 (My Two Bobs), while the second Bob that Ray Tracer brought to Mainframe had the original VA. Then later in the movie, Glitch stole some code from Bob 2, returning it to Web Bob. Web Bob changed back to his original Guardian costume, and reassumed his original voice, while Bob 2 was revealed to be Megabyte. So it was explained that in Web World Wars, when Megabyte betrayed Bob, the act of crushing Glitch leaked some of Bob's data into Megabyte. Bob's voice changed because he was missing some of his code. Then later, when Megabyte gained his shape-shifting Trojan Horse capabilities, that same code that he gained allowed him to shape-shift into Bob.
No No No... Tim Curry should voice Megabyte...with that suave yet evil voice only he can pull off to even remotely sound like the original (RIP Tony Jay)
