I saw a t.v. ad back in the late 80's where two soda machines transformed and before they began to fight,a kid walked up and they both transformed back and the kid put his money in the Pepsi machine and after walking away,the robot head(again Pepsi)flipped up with a smile and winked at the camera.This was one of those"choice of a new generation" ads.I've checked every video and tube website I can think of and still havent found it anywhere.Can anyone help me on this?Thanx in advance.

I do remember something like that, but I wouldn't have a clue where to find it.
Have you tried emailing Pepsi, maybe they have it on their website or someplace else on the net you view it from?

 

I do remember it.

It was in a gas station in the middle of the road at night and after a truck or a car leaves, there are 2 machines, one from Coke and the other one from Pepsi.
One of them pops up a sort of Transformer head and stares at the other machine that does the same. Then they pop up arms and legs and they pretty much are ready to start a fight at the roof of the gas station when they hear a noise of someone coming and they transform back to machine mode.
Then a a guy or a girl, don't recall exactly, inserts a coin at the Coke machine and a can of Pepsi is given instead of Coke. The person walks away surprised and the Pepsi machine pop ups the robot head again and winks or do a gesture.

Is that the commercial? I was looking for it for ages and could not find it yet

I might be a Pepsi person but I really find these "we're better than Coca-Cola" ads mean and unnecessary.

Funny thing is when I found the ad I did a search to see if there was a topic on it and there it was! I didn't know it was that old but no point in making a new topic if one is made.

That's Martin Sheen doing the voice over work. He was in everything in the 80's.
