I really liked this series. It actually has the only version on Lois Lane I can tolerate. Not so much the constant Damsel in Distress although she did get herself into danger more than the fair share of people while trying to get the latest news scoop with Jimmy Olsen.
I also really like this version of Superman. Even though Superman in the comics sometimes thinks he can handle everything on his own with the help of others. I feel like in the animated version Superman actually felt very alone, and by season 3 he was willing to accept any help he could get.
There were a few cross over episodes in the last season (I think they were all season 3 anyway)-
-Flash
-Static Shock
- 2 with Batman
-LOSH
-Green Lantern
-Aquaman
-New Gods
-LoBo
-Steel
Anyone else ?

News Credits: 1 | I really wish I could say I watched this show, but I didn't. I didn't think it was bad, I thought it was actually good, but I never was into superman as much as Batman. I mentioned in the other thread that me and a friend were the Batman/Superman kids. We never really crossed over except for "World's Finest."
I think the concept of a man who is a superhero because of hard work, training, intelligence and strong will is more of a hero than a guy who is just all-powerful from the get-go. Superman never really worked to be a superhero, but Batman went through hell since he was a boy. (with the loss of his parents) Although TAS Superman was a stronger personallity than your average Superman, he was no Batman. And Superman TAS had the same problem with Batman Beyond: I never liked the villains. I know your not supposed to, per-se, but they bore me into changing the channel.
I think he and the other "super-powered" heroes are what put me off shows like Justice League. It's cool to have powers like that, but Batman was, and I know this sounds dumb, the "real" person. XBL GT: SPLITTLIP Quote:

But there is a lot more to Superman than a lot of the other supers out there. Superman can be showed as a loner, him and Batman have a lot in common, and a lot them makes them exact opposites. Really hard to explain :/. I think that's why the World's finest comics are so awesome. You should give Superman a chance, look deeper into it. There's alot sorry, I am really bad at explaining lol.

Would love to finally see the rest of it as I have seen all of BTAS, Justice League and Batman Beyond. I miss that universe, would be nice to re visit it seeing episodes I have never seen before.
As for the cameos, wasnt Aquaman in it too one episode?

If anything, it was a good set-up for Justice League |

I love how they connected everything though.

Really liked this show. It may not have made the impact that B:TAS or Batman Beyond did, but I thought it was just as good as either. Tim Daly was so good as Superman (and I just read that he and Conroy are back for the "Superman/Batman: Public Enemies" DVD, very excited), and the Darkseid episodes were just incredible. Quote:
