Did anyone see this movie? My wife and I went to see it on Wednesday night and it was easily one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. The plot goes nowhere, the characters are completely unrelatable, and there is no sense of urgency about anything. It was so bad, we almost left, which is something we never do.
Did anyone else see it? If so, what did you think? |

Loads of Micheal Mann style shoot outs.. Depp totally stole the show.. Bale was decent but was such a boring role he didn't have much to work with..
I look forward to buying this.. |

You have the real heyday of the Pulp Fiction writers like Lovecraft and Clark Ashton smith and Robert Howard.. and the depression era " Public Enemies " not to mention a whole host of other extremely memorable personalities.. I guess the 30s is probably my favorite time period on both sides of the atlantic.. just a fascinating time period..
This movie made me think about the Rocketeer.. and the mobsters in that " We may not turn an honest buck but were 100% American.. and we aren't some Nazi stooges " |
