New TMNT movie: comics, cartoon and 2K crossover!

Call me crazy, but this has me giddy and bouncy like a little kid who had waaaay to much sugar.

Quote:
Yesterday, a promo aired on CW4KIDS announcing that a weekly "Top Ten Best of TMNT" season would be airing in September, with the best episodes of the entire seven year run of the series selected by fans.

At the conclusion of the "Best of" season, scheduled to end around November, will be an all new 25th anniversary TMNT crossover movie featuring the current cast of the modern series uniting with the 1987 original series cast. Not much is known of this movie, but the promos show both groups of Turtles combating Rocksteady, Bebop, and a legion of robotic Foot soldiers, all pouring out of The Technodrome. The original series Turtles and villains have retained their original designs, whilst the modern cast have returned to their classic "blank slate" look from the first six seasons

>>This is exclusive news, straight from the horse's mouth so to speak. It's not a whole lot, but it's something to chew on at least.

>>This past weekend, I attended a convention where Wayne Grayson and Mike Pollock were part of a Ninja Turtles panel with Tom Wayland. Someone asked Wayne if they were going to do more episodes. While he could not say for sure they would get to do another season because it was up to 4Kids, the subject of the DTV came up in the same line.

>>That he threw a bone out for us, but all he would say is that the Mirage, Old Cartoon and New Cartoon Turtles would be in it and interacting together.

.....oh shit.......I......I'm actually excited.

Holy crap, the animation even looks like it'll be different for both groups. The '87 turtles look like they came right out of the cartoon!

This is so much win. It kinda reminds me of that one Ghostbusters cartoon where in the last episode they had the original ghostbusters come in
