Part 1 wasn't anything to write home about either. I suppose I'll check it out at some point.

"Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match" -9/10

A lot more fun than I imagined, and fully committed to the latter 1980's setting and designs. This version of Johnny Cage is what you expect as a parody of an egocentric Hollywood actor, but has enough charm and good will to not be unlikeable, a careful balance. I would say he's kind of a cross between Ryo from "City Hunter" and Deadpool, complete with some 4th Wall breaking narration. Heavy on both action and fun, probably destined to be an overlooked American animated film due to being part of a loose series, but a real treat for anyone lucky enough to watch it.

The Sucker Punch did not need a spiritual sequel, dammit!

 

Night Swin - 3/10

Pretty generic horror flick. Fell asleep in the 3rd act, and missed the ending. Wife told me what happened. Meh
