At theaters: Land of the Lost. Not as bad as I had heard, and it didn't rape my childhood or anything either cause I grew up on the crap Patrick Duffy version. 7/10. Matt Lauer's part made me lol.

    At home: Fanboys. 10/10. Hilarious!

Up 9/10. Shame that it'll get the Animated Oscar (Coraline would be the only outside chance) and not be up for Movie of the Year.

    Young Guns - 3/10

I remember loving this movie when I saw it in the 80's. Watched it last night for the first time since then (couldn't resist the $3.98 price at Target)and I couldn't believe how aweful it was. The three other people I watched it with felt the same. The thing we were most shocked by was the cheesy 80's guitar/keyboard music throughout the movie. Hard to get into that Wild West frame of mind when the music has you thinking about Brenda and the gang hanging out at the Peach Pit on 90210.

The Limits of Control - 9/10

I wouldn't argue with anyone who hates this latest Jim Jarmusch film. It's essentially nothing happening for two hours. But for me it was like a 2-hour meditation that put me into a state of zen. I swear I heard one hand clapping throughout the entire film. I can't wait to buy the DVD and pop it in every time I want to relax and purge the rubbish from my mind. :)

Gran Torino, and I'd clock it in at about a 9.3 out of 10, if only for the acting of Tau. (sp?)

Ah, thanks for that (this mind, it plays tricks on me!). I caught that scene on YouTube; I was... surprised by such an emotional breakdown from Kyle, but it makes sense in terms of his character; I'd cry out too if I was faced with the life I could've had verses what I actually lived. I do love irony[?] of a young Sarah suggesting that they blow up Cyberdyne and attempts to the "tatically dangerous" idea several years later :D .

@ the theater, Terminator 4. I enjoyed it, but only because I watched it for entertainment, NOT because I wanted to "mesh" the timelines....... so, 9/10, especially for the aquabots!

@ home, it's been "movie" day over here, so for Wild Hogs......7/10
Madea Goes to Jail.....8/10, and Galaxy Quest.......9/10.
