Just because the movie is successful doesn't mean Trek should have new tv shows. This is exactly why the fans were burnt out on Trek in the early 2000's. Will Alto end up with Sheryl or Ranka? Voice your opinion HERE!!!

If it takes off then those same actors can graduate to a proper trekking across the stars show or movies.

Looked interesting, sounded interesting - a captain of the starship Enterprise trying to pull the Federation together by appealing to that which had made it great, amongst a people who had forgotten what the word Federation stood for.
