I found Yu-Gi-OH Abridged quite a while ago and was immediately put off as a humorist, video editor, and writer. The sense of humor is horrible, the impressions are a mile off and not in a funny way but more a sad attempt way, and the editing is half assed with no use of music or sounds other than the voices. I actually tried them again over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised to find... they hadn't changed in the least, awesome, haven't missed anything.
Have to mightily disagree with you there. The first few episodes are a tad ropey, but it really picks up as it goes on. And the voices do actually change somewhat dramatically. Both Yugis workvery well and his Kaiba is practically spot on. The rest I always felt were meant to be parodies and characatures. In lter episodes there is additional pits of animation (somewhat poorly, but you get the idea it's deliberate) added.
I personally don;t care that theres no real music to it, thats not really the point, that being to rip on the ridiculouslness of the game as portrayed and of the plot and charatcer sterotypes themselves...
