Maniac Cop Returns in Fourth Installment.

I heard from an article from the Fangoria magazine website that William Lustig and Larry Cohen have the production/creative rights to the cult classic Maniac Cop, but nothing is know about that the fourth movie will be about so when information is available they'll let us know about the details. Now if anyone never heard about this film it's kinda like crime thriller mixed with a slasher flick. Its about a cop named Matt Cordell who was sent up and went to jail and later murdered because he knew about the corruption with city hall and the police department and like Jason Voorhees he comes back from the dead and starts a twisted form of vengeance against the city. I know that the facts may not be correct, but it was as close as I can get.

Only if Robert Z'Dar is involved somehow.

I bet he'll be in it because no one has that "chin" like Mr. Z'dar and besides he'll always be the Maniac Cop, Matt Cordell. Just cross your fingers.

I've seen the first and second film. I don't know why he was killing innocent
people. I can understand him going after the corrupted and the crime
organization that killed him in prison. But about six months ago, I was reading
a Fangoria magazine and it mentioned about a third Jeeper Creeper film.

I guess first to get the attention from the some cops that were paying attention and trying to figure out why Cordell was doing this. And yep their is a third installment to Jeepers Creepers, but it might be a prequel or sequel so I don't know. Hopefully a sequel, but you hardly see those now do ya.

Maniac Cop 4 - This time he's off his meds.

I've read a humor that Maniac Cop will face another creation by Cohen and Lustig called Uncle Sam, its bascially a dead soldier that returns from the grave and kills un-Americans and innocent people in the disguise of you guessed it Uncle Sam.

Bizarre. They need Bruce Campbell's Elvis to kick both their asses.
