Death Race

Did anyone else go see this? A friend of mine wanted to see it, and it was free for me, so I went.

I had pretty low expectations going into it, but I actually really enjoyed it. It was a fun story and had some pretty good visuals.

It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, but it wasn't trying to be either. It was good for what it was, a summer action flick.

I've been keeping an eye out for it, it certainly can't sully the name of the original DR:3000 anyway, does that well enough on its own!

I didn't know they'd done a remake of DR3000.

What's the point?

They took out all the fun goofiness of the real movie and painted everything black and gray. No thank you.

The original Death Race was retarded, but funny as hell. This doesn't seem to even follow the same plot, but it looks like it'll be decent even if not totally faithful to the original.
