Didn't see a thread for this (I searched), so I thought I'd make one for it at the very least.

Plot: Television reporter Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) and her cameraman (Steve Harris) are assigned to spend the night shift with a Los Angeles Fire Station. After a routine 911 call takes them to a small apartment building, they find police officers already on the scene in response to blood curdling screams coming from one of the apartment units. They soon learn that a woman living in the building has been infected by something unknown. After a few of the residents are viciously attacked, they try to escape with the news crew in tow, only to find that the CDC has quarantined the building. Phones, internet, televisions and cell phone access have been cut-off, and officials are not relaying information to those locked inside. When the quarantine is finally lifted, the only evidence of what took place is the news crews videotape.
This honestly looks like an exciting thriller/horror movie, especially after watching the Red Band Trailer. I'm not sure what everyone else opinion is on this, but I'm seriously considering to see it in theaters or at the very least when its released on DVD (whenever).

Quarantine (2008) - Teaser TRAILER {TRUE-HD} Sony Pictures
QUARANTINE (2008) - Theatrical Trailer (Non Red Ban)
Location: the filthy nasty dirty south...BR, Louisiana
Collection Count: never have bothered to count
I like the concept of a zombie outbreak quaratine of people (at least this is what they appear to be). I always figured a real world knee-jerk reaction to the beginning of a Zombie plague would be quaratines... which would only make the plague worse. I doubt though that I go to theater to see it, i can wait.
The original Spanish version that this film is a remake of was okay.

Search is failing then, we're discussing the original and have mentioned this remake here. BEWARE there could theoretically be some spoilers in there depending on if you've seen the trailer and if you read peoples comments on it.
Suffice to say though, the original spanish version [REC] is bloody amazing, and by comparrison quarenteeen looks a bit cack...

Yeah, I saw the [●REC] Thread, but I meant a thread for this film specifically, even if it is a remake of the aformentioned movie which happens to be the major focus of dissucsion (and might maintain more spoilers than I really want to read before I even consider looking at either ).
I'll reserve my judgement on the film (and the original) before considering it suckish.
I am Perfection Without Ego, and the Undisputed King Scalper. Bearer of the Superior Empathy, and the everlasting spirit of The Fuzzy's true purpose. You lose.
At least the female reporter is played by "Emily Rose"...

Fair enough buddy It was just that it had been disscussed somewhat in there, but probably safer to stay here to talk about quarentine for the uninitiated...
