- Professor Yumi is hiding something at the Photon Power Labs, there's been no hints to what he's hiding, but my guess is he's got Great Mazinger or a Photon Power Weapon hidden there. Given the fact we know Great is showing up...
- We finally got some Sayaka X Kouji screentime, something I enjoyed in Mazinkaiser was the dynamic between the characters, and I like how they're being played as lovers flirting with each other. Even more so when they're chasing each other around, cue narrator, and they stop and react to the "but while they harmlessly flirted, Dr Hell prepares his assault".
- Mechanical Beast Baron Ashura is pretty badass, can't wait to see more of it.
My favourite moment of the episode though was the ending, where Mazinger launches to the first theme song.
There's a Devilman cameo in the episode too, pretty hard to miss.  Quote: |
