Watch it be a needless remake(the original still holds up well) or another tv series.

Quoted for truth. When it came out in '87, Robocop was seen as a groundbreaking movie, mixing graphic violence never before seen in a mainstream film and clever social commentary. This remake is hard-pressed and unlikely to match that.

Robocop doesn't need a remake. The end.

The original Robocop still holds up extremely well, as a matter of fact the only part of the film that looks dated is the stop-motion used for ed-209.

There is really no need for a remake.

A remake is 100% unneccessary. The original is still great. As for another sequel, if they hadn't already made a few crappy TV series and a really crappy Robocop 3, then I'd be excited to see a new Robocop movie. However, no one has really been able to "get" Robocop since Robocop 2.

QFT, anyone who thinks otherwise should never be allowed to talk about movies again.

the only person who can play robocop is Peter Weller imo.

plus as everyone's said the first movie still rules.

    Wait...What?

Not that I'm that big a fan of the second film, but the third film is just horrid. Of course it's nowhere near as bad as the cartoon.

I still find it staggering that Frank Miller wrote the Godawful story for Robocop 3; it was absolutely horrible. I have a 3 DVD set of all 3 movies; I must have watched the first one about 20 times, and the second one about 10 (after all, it's not too bad. Plus, it was directed by Irvin Kershner, who did The Empire Strikes Back). I've watched the 3rd one maybe once. It's just that damn poor.

What we really need is a Robocop/Pacman crossover.

Part Robot. Part Cop. Part giant yellow pellet-eating thing. ROBOPAC.
