Cloverfield on DVD

Anybody else get it?

I thought the featurette with the monster designer was pretty cool. Also, seeing all the green-screen stuff on set, it's INCREDIBLE how they made it look like the streets of New York.

I know of two hidden secrets so far. On one, if you push to the left or right on the setup menu somewhere, there's a hidden montage of the crew of the set. Also, in the scene selection, go to the last part (scenes 12-16) and wait a couple minutes. Scene 17 will appear and have some secret videos, but its mostly the viral videos that were on the viral sites.

I intend to buy it, but I'm renting it first (seeing as it gets delivered instantly and I doesn't take weeks, like it does to get a store). Can't wait to see it!

Spoilers:
I know when it was in theaters someone had said you can see something hit in the water at the end of the movie when it goes back to them at coney island. I was never able to spot it until just now. It is before the camera points at them, and is shooting out at the coast. Something definitely hits the water in the background. Kinda cool.

Got it at FYE, they had it in a snappy metal box for the same price as the normal packaging.

I got it yesterday, just haven't had a chance to play around with it. Loved in the theatre and I'm looking forward to the special features, even though this will be obsolete when they bring out the "super extended Monsters cut Blu Ray kill you" version.

i'm waiting till a special edition or something comes out. but i did rent it and watch it a third time over. it was way cooler in theaters but still TOTALLY awesome. and unfortunately the BRAND NEW DVD froze with two minutes to go so i totally missed the thing falling in the water.
