No one ever goes there!" and then running off to see what the fuss is. When characters put themselves in danger, it makes perfect sense. | That's exactly how I described The Mist to someone yesterday.
The characters put themselves in jeapordy in ways that made sense based on their situation.
I just DLed the trailer on Xbox Live -I'll have to check it out. Xbox Live :Adam Smasher |

Of course everyone knows those movies are based on books. I've never heard of the Ruins.

Although there were characters who acted crazy -it was believable based on the situation.
You say The Ruins is like that so I am going to see it based on your reccomendation. If you are wrong I will virtually punch you through the interwebs.
It will be nice to see another horror movie that isn't torture pr0n with characters who are apparently incapable of learning like in Saw.
(Hey, let me go in this room now and I won't try to keep the door from shutting on its own and trapping me because I am sure this room will be completely different than the other three rooms I have been in.) Quote:

Paranoia, (as in the cold war going on at the time) for one.
IMHO, the latest string of horror movies lack any substance or layers like that. I mean, even the slashers of the 80s were a poorly done morality play.
and torture porn...ugh. I hate papercuts, so why i am i gonna watch Saw?
the only reason i would give this movie a shot is that it might just be a campfire story type movie. Quote: |

Definitely better than I expected based on the previews. Mostly because of the actors being of a better caliber than the usual WB-casting in today's horror scene.
Of modern horror, I still think The Descent has more intelligence going on in the movie than anything else recently. Adults making intelligent choices, but still doomed. Looking for/forward to: BT Broadblast, Rodimus, clear Mirage; MP Grimlock; ML AXM Beast?

anyways, glad to know there is popular opinion that disdains torture porn type 'horror' ugh. |
