I just picked up the Gundam Seed Anime Collection 1 box set. OF course it is only episodes one thru 25. Does anyone know when they plan on releasing Collection 2? I see there is a release date for Gundam Seed Destiny Collection 1 already, but no sign of the last half of Gundam seed.
I am not a die hard Gundam fan, but I do enjoy the shows. Thanks for the help. |

The US get lots of good shows the the UK don't get (We still haven't got Gravion Zwei. And Gaogaigar will neer be released over here...)

Especially if you're new to Gundam in general, you should get a lot of mileage out of it. If you're well-versed in the UC stuff, then maybe not as much, as it gets criticized a bit for it's "pick-and-choose" aspect of rehashing plotlines from the original series, at least in the first half or so.
Destiny is also quite watchable, but not as good. Whereas SEED takes a bit of time to find its own voice, by the end of it, it knows how to hit all sorts of good dramatic high notes. Destiny, on the other hand, starts off with SEED's high, but starts to falter towards the second half. |
