If Harmony Gold wasn't such a bunch of pricks and would quit trademarking the Macross name in an attempt to block Japanese products (or demand royalites from them), it might be a different story. |

Satelight Reveals New Macross Project as TV Series
In its press release for the Nissan Dualis SUV campaign, the animation studio Satelight revealed that the previously announced 25th anniversary Macross project will be a television series. The Nissan campagn features a powered suit design by Macross co-creator and designer Shoji Kawamori. Satelight animated four of Kawamori's most recent directorial efforts (Kenji's Spring [Spring and Chaos], Earth Girl Arjuna, Macross Zero, Genesis of Aquarion). Kawamori serves as managing director on Satelight's board, and Satelight has opened Kawamori's official website on May 23.
