I think The Karate Kid Part II is a bit underrated. It isn't quite as good as the coming of age story in the original, but it still raised the stakes in a believable manner. The series went downhill after that though.
Yeah, I read the posts lol. I just don't get the investment of caring when a movie ages every 5 years. Things age, the magic multiplier of 5 actually takes the special out of anniversaries. Pretty soon we'll be celebrating every 3 year anniversery.
Highlander turned 30 as well. There are suppose to be some screenings this summer at select theaters and it's also being re-released in 4K.
You don't have to post in it if you don't like it. Edit-still if everyone hates this thread I stop posting it. Just let me know.
His post was probably sarcastic, saying he doesn't like the thread because it reminds him how old he is now.
O.O ...what is wrong with you!?!?!? i love this movie! i have seen it so many times that i could quote it word for word. trivia: one of the three storms called Lightning gave inspiration for the character Raiden of the Mortal Kombat video game franchise.
Aliens is a perfect movie in my opinion. I mainly watch the Special Edition though. It's my second favorite movie behind The Empire Strikes Back, and it's had a huge impact on my writing and a lot of other entertainment I love like the Dead Space games. I first saw it when I was like five, and I walked into the living room while my mom was watching one of the final action scenes. It's hard to believe the movie is only ten years older than me, because the special effects hold up incredibly well.
