Even though it is an extremely popular show I have noticed a fair share of hate here on the internet. Most of the hate is at the stereotypical nerd culture. So might as well ask a website which most people would think would be nerds. No offense guys. I been enjoying the show for probably 2 years now but am starting to get sick of it. Especially more recent episodes mostly because Amy is one of the most cringe worthy character in sitcoms Earlier episodes where better but there are still some great episodes later on such as the episode with James Earl Jones. But if it wasn't that I'd probably just say the show weak. Maybe i just watched it too much. So yea my opinion of it is "meh".
Absolutely HATE that show. (despite my colleagues at work and relatives trying to get me to like that show, even on Farcebook/Lamebook)
Abso-F--king-Lutely Hell Yeah! Big Bang Theory is my second most favorite sitcom (After Married... With Children). I watch it all the time and even have almost all the DVDs!
I absolutely love it, and don't understand the large amount of the hate I've seen for it. Nerd culture is filled with stereotypes, and while the show only covers certain ones, it does get them right (at least I think they do anyways). I think at least some of the haters don't like it shinning light on the more negative and embarrasing aspects of nerds/geeks, and this is coming from someone who is addmittedly rather Raj-like.
Love it. I find it hilarious. I didn't even know the show had much hate. I mean if it's not your cup of tea, then it's not your cup o' tea. But if you take the jokes and goofy/extremely over the top nerdiness-for-the-sake-of-laughter humor personally, then I wouldn't necessarily say the problem is with the show..
I love it. It's one of my favorite sit-coms. Though I'll admit I don't laugh out loud as much as I used to.
It's kinda hit-or-miss for me. When the humor and plot are more character-centric I can really get into it, but when the show gets too deep into the nerd/geek jokes it loses me.
It's enjoyable to me, but I don't rank it among the best comedies on television. It's mostly a time filler, but I do laugh at it.
I have watched a lot of Big Bang Theory in the background during schoolwork and personal projects, and if Family Guy was on, I'd have been watching that instead. It is inoffensive background noise to me and nothing more, and in the few times I've set aside the time to actually sit down and watch an episode, I never laughed. Not once. Not even a smile. I just mentally acknowledged the wit (of lack thereof) of each joke and moved on. It is the very definition of "Meh".
