^ Not necessarily the case. Especially considering the backlash against the second film, I'm reasonably certain we'll learn the colonization is still QUITE in effect and continuing apace, just not as apocalyptically as previously envisioned. I'm thinking its possible that the premise might be something along the lines of the Conspiracy theory of Project Blue Beam. Nasa/NSA and the world elites fake a UFO attack and take over the world under the image of global security. Project Blue Beam Also wouldn't be surprised if project Serpo made it into the show in some form. This conspiracy theory states that one of aliens that crashed in Roswell survived, made contact home, and low and behold a "inter-species" exchange was held where 12 astronauts went to a planet in the Zeta Reticuli star system Serpo.org - The Zeta Reticuli Exchange Program These are just some of the biggest conspiracy theories involving aliens to come out in force since the show went off the air.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited to see new episodes too. Odd that this isn't getting more attention on these threads.
I'm expecting the last part of the opening to change up a few times since it randomly changed based on the episode - The Truth Is out There, Trust no one, Etc. Its a 6 episode Season 10. Fox is calling it Season 10 since there is to possibility of Season 11 if the ratings are good enough. So the straight up murder of a large grey, and a TR-3B Black Manta right off the bat. YES!!!
Only 6 episodes? They better get on with it. Hopefully this wot be some rushed hatchet job like Fear the Walking Dead
I'm thinking this season/6 episodes will focus on Purity Control from Seasons 2 and 3. Edit - well at least one of my predictions was right - "real world" project Blue Beam is in play - Illusion of alien invasion in the US.
They'll probably say he escaped in a tunnel system since he was staying in an old style Hopi Indian structure.
