Warner Bros. Eyes Director For SUICIDE SQUAD Movie!

Good for WB. But should it involve Batman (vis-a-vis Harley Quinn and other Batman villains)?

 

Well, I enjoyed Assault on Arkham, despite that

half the Suicide Squad is dead by the end of it (Killer Frost is up in the open, though)

, but I think about how cool a live action incarnation would be.

David Ayer is an interesting choice, should he agree to helm it.

 

Well if a villain movie is going to have a shot at the box office it seems like the easiest one to adapt. Plus it's not like the villains were not already about the best thing about the DC live action films so might as well play to your strong points.

 

A Suicide Squad Movie....Nice.

It probably would also mean Harley Quinn will make her live action film debut here.

Yeah, I'm not even a big SS fan, but I think this is a great idea.

Harley has to be involved, or else they'd just be screwing themselves.

 

Because the last one they did was so good...

 

While this isn't bad news DC REALLY seems to be rushing their properties. You have to build to a Suicide Squad movie just like you should build to a Justice League movie... Introduce the characters as major players BEFORE the team up movie.

Rushing strait to the team ups makes me worry these movies will suck.

 

Meh. Never been a SS fan, and this just seems like DC yet again rushing into the team-up game. Probably a direct answer to the success of Guardians.

But hey, now we get to see Harley Quinn look nothing like Harley Quinn on the big screen, too. Yay.  

 

I'd love to see a Suicide Squad movie. We'll finally see Harley on the big screen. I'm not counting on him being a part of the team they go with, but I'd love to see Slade included as well.

 

I thought this would happen very soon considering how much DC has been pushing them lately. I definitely think it has potential, but I just hope it's not just DC trying to mimic the successor of Guardians of the Galaxy with their own ragtag band of criminals. I liked Assault on Arkham, so I am definitely up for this.

Can't say I'd be too excited for a live action film on these guys.... usually I feel pretty let down by the actor choices, etc.

I did enjoy them in AoA, but I have feeling I'd like it better if they remained animated.

Bane, The Man in Black, and that naked chick from THE WOLF OF WALL STREET as Harley Quinn? Awesome!

 

I think its strange they're eyeing Tom Hardy.

Honestly I just want him to play Bane again......

Hardy has already been Bane, so I'm hoping that, if they get him, he portrays someone else for this movie. Either Deadshot or King Shark would be cool. Not sure I've seen Margot in anything, but I could picture her as Harley.

I'm not really sure why, but I keep picturing Will Smith as Captain Boomarang for some reason. Though I guess he could also play Deadshot or Bronze Tiger. Though I would prefer someone a tad more... beefy for the latter.

Edit, Not sure why I typed "Tigerclaw" when I was thinking of Bronze Tiger... Got TMNT on the brain...

 

I can see Smith as Bronze Tiger and/or Black Spider.

 

I'm not familiar with Black Spider, and while I could see him in the role, I would rather they cast someone else for Bronze Tiger.

I thought there wasn't gonna be a Harley in this. Was that rumor debunked or something?
