Hello! I'm interested in some of the Mugenbine figures you posted in the Mugenbine thread. Get back to me at your earliest convenience, thanks :)
The model might still be a while. So it's nothing to worry about know. They don't have us on a deadline or anything like that.
Wacky says in the video what the model will ultimately be used for. Making a free mod for a mecha video game, so the model will be available for free ultimately. But I am in contact with Wacky, so I'll ask about getting official approval from the design team.
Like I said, they're already working on a model. But, if they do give me the model, would you be willing to help me turn it into a statue? Please? I wouldn't think just a statue with no moving parts would be that difficult overall.
I'm just thinking that, once I get hold of the model, I could add a skeleton rig to it, and then that could be scaled properly, given a base, and uploaded to shapeways for printing. There wouldn't be anything necessarily stopping it would there?
Actually, that leads me to another question. A 3D model could be easily used to create a statuette on Shapeways, correct?
Sadly, the only other work being done with the gundam is a 3D model that's being created by one member of the design crew.
Really? GNY-0042-874 Gundam Artemie - Gundam Wiki Honeycomb Conversion Kit Sprue A by TreadshotA1 on Shapeways That kit you made before is the entire reason I had the idea to come talk to you about it. Because the Arch Destiny Gundam isn't a unit that will ever get a resin kit, and you're actually the only person I've seen that does 3D printing for conversion kits. I thought it would be a cool way to get it into the hands of fans.
Well...ever heard of a little unit called the Destiny Gundam? Well, a lot of people don't like the Destiny due to it's uninspired design, as my friend WackyModder84 describes here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lD5OJd6i1uM So, he and a few others got together to give it an overhaul. The Arch Destiny Gundam. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwOu_KBVeIs I think it looks cool and incredibly unique for a lead gundam and would love to see you make it a reality. It uses the same basic build as the Destiny, so you already have it as a basis. It mostly just needs new armor and accessories. And WM84 goes into excruciating detail as to how it all works.
Hey Tready, I found a great new project for a new Gunpla upgrade kit like you've done before. Want to hear it and see if you're interested?
Hey, I have a friend who is looking for somebody who can generate 3D models of a figure that can be produced in limited quantaties in celibration of a milestone in one of his projects. I immediately thought of you. Interested?
I think I should have been more specific. I'm looking for a transformable Megs thats around the same size as RM Optimus. I saw some of the characters you designed, and thought you would maybe have the skill to pull this off.
So far you're pretty well the best I've seen on shapeways. I have no ability to design anything at all, but want a g1 pistol Megatron that is in scale with robot masters Optimus prime. How big of a deal would it be to design this, and if I were able to commission you to do it can you give me an estimate of cost?
