Oh my gosh, your Super7 Turtles collection is SO amazing! I really want to get some of those sometime. I have essentially the entire 2012 line, excluding Turtles variants and vehicles, and the Neca 1990 boys.

I actually don't have them on display, I've been meaning to sometime. I need to pick up some G I Joe Classified stuff and dive into the Super7 Turtles as well.

The classified stuff is pretty cool, I eventually sold it all since it’s a lot to keep track of and the exclusivity of so many figures was frustrating, but it’s a great line otherwise. I have a bunch of vintage joes and I kind of feel the hit that GI Joe needs. That classified hiss tank looks pretty amazing though.

It does. I'm torn between jumping into Vintage and Classified, but I'm leaning towards Classified just because it's cheaper and more available to me. Either way, fantastic looking figures.

Yeah, I saw it when I was in theaters as a kid. It was bad and baffling. I am convinced they had no idea what SMB even was. Odd considering there were multiple games, and 3 cartoon shows. Odder still considering Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat embraced their respective roots with open arms.

I dunno haha definitely not for everyone, but I unironically love it. Mario is not like street fighter or mortal combat, in that it is inherently cartoonish while the other two had semi realistic designs. To put that in live action requires reinterpretation.

I think it’s pretty amazing how many deep dive references it makes to the games (from the lady in the bar named big bertha, the shy guys being in the dessert moving trash, to the super scope guns) and that they attempted to give real-world explanations for things such as the mushrooms being everywhere, or even why Mario can jump. The even had Mario trying to collect a star piece as one of the main plot points.

Honestly if it weren’t connected to the games, I think the movie would be considered a cult classic due to the aesthetic and the actors they used.

lol gotcha, totally forgot about that episode.

Thought you were referencing the new spiderman game, so I was trying to remember if I had commented about Spidey and pidgeons recently. I suppose I didn't haha
