Sir, I've seen your work on your custom Mirage and am very impressed. I was wondering, are you still active with customs and do you do commissions? I'm new to the boards so I'm not up to date on all of the everyone's activity. Thanks.
Hi mate. You've done a fantastic job! I keep on looking at the pictures. I've never been brave enough to paint that figure, so you have my total respect :)
Hi, Still wondering if you got the KO Wheeljack available? And what about the custom Mirage's? I think it was clear yellow, clear red, and Purple:? (clear & soild). Keith
Sounds great Omega-Magnus. Another guy here on told me that the new 25th Anv. Prime's wheels are eaiser to take off then the G-1 and G-2's but a junker prime is best or a junker magnus. Since he is all white you can paint him any color and not have to put down a base color. Keep me post:) Keith.
Hey man, what's up? I've actually not started yet as I am waiting to pick one up on clearance from Target- I'm going to meet another fan in town who got one at 75% off for me. I think I am going to take your advice and get a junker cab off of eBay to do a test run so I don't mess up the nice one. I'll let you know once I get rolling on it.
Hey Dude Still working my way around this site I like it, kinda cool Screw the downers, I have plenty of your custom work on hand. They are straaaaaaaaange Not many more Primes...but working on it
Sure! I am always looking for good hints/tips. Since my original post, I hav gone on to almost complete a Sunstorm and the Thundercracker. I just got my Decepticon lables from Repro, and will be putting them on this weekend. What kind of a clear sealant should I use that will not erode the current paint job? I am also going to be starting a Dragstrip, a Red Alert, and anotehr seeker that will be metallic purple and black. Any tips? Thanks!
Hello Tony, I love looking at great custom work my friend and you have true skill. Question for you. I have always hated paint white over any colored plastic. What is your advice on painting over color plastic. I had made a Decepticon Black and White G1 Inferno about a year ago. Everything turned out well but I could swear that the red plastic was tining my white paint.
Hi there Strata, thanks for the compliments, appreciate them immensely. My last post in that thread was more towards "inturnmike" but is good advice non the less for anyone who wants to learn good hand brushing techniques.
