One of my favorite moments when Ronan, Gladiator, and the Skrull warlord gang up on Black Dwarf. Especially when Ronan delivers the killing blow.

I’ve now read through all of Hickman’s runs, all I’ve left is Secret Wars. Just in time for his X-Men run to begin.

I absolutely loved Infinity. So badass, makes look forward to reading other cosmic stories.

Yes Infinity was great. I didn't appreciate it so much when it first came out, but re-reading it, it has a ton of great stuff.

I did a tally of all the comics in my wishlist, Spider-Man came up with the biggest tally, 110.

That’s including everything Spider-Man related. But excluding Venom and Carnage.

If I had to pick out of all the characters I’m following, Thor is the one I look forward to reading the most. He’s also among the only Lee/Kirby comics I intend to read.

The current massive blockbuster sale on the Marvel comic app is the perfect opportunity for me to make a big dent in my wishlist!

Oh trust me, these things just keep getting bigger, on the bright side, you’ll get some great reading out of em!

Well, after giving it some consideration. I’ve decided I’m going to read Bendis’ entire run on Ultimate Spider-Man.

I read his work all the way up to before Ultimatum. It’s pretty entertaining and one of Marvel’s best runs of the modern era.

I felt too lost with the former, and it’s designation as Volume 6 in the solicitations sealed the deal.

Iron Man, just wasn’t quite catching me the way I hoped. I’ll still read it, but not on a monthly basis.

I have yet to catch up with Coates’ Captain America run, so if that’ll get switched, we’ll see.

      Omegashark18
Well, I’ve switched two of the comic I was buying monthly to trades, Black Panther and Iron Man.

Not liking what I saw from either of those titles. Ta Nehisi Coates' Marvel work has been mostly disappointing for me. Slott's on the other hand, feels really preachy. The fact that he's also dealing with a ton of elements that I hated from Iron Man the last few years (Tony Stark's weird parentage and Arno) and well didn't bother continuing.

I’ve recently decided to change the number of series I buy individually in order to reduce my monthly bill.

I think I just want to read different takes on the characters.

And Earth One fits that bill.

In other news, this Memorial Day sale has allowed me catch up big time on all the comics I’m following. I’m almost completely caught up with Superman.

I’ve decided that I’m going to add the Earth One books to my DC reading list.

Personally I hate the Earth One books, feels like they missed the core points of Superman and Batman (both of which I read)

BOOM! Studios Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, with all the good things I’ve heard about it of late I decided, why the hell not?

From Dark Horse, Hellboy. I’m familiar with the character due to Guillermo Del Toro’s two movies, and I enjoyed them both.

      And from Image, Spawn.
I watched the HBO series a few years back and I quite enjoyed it. And so now I thought it was time to give this classic comic a go.

Ive been following the Boom MMPR Shattered Grid storyline, pretty good. I only read the earlier volumes of Hellboy and yes those are pretty good as well. I haven’t read Spawn in years though.

Well, thanks to DC’s current relaunch stuff, I now know where to put Metal in my reading order.

Right after the conclusion of the prior Justice League comic.
      1. Star Saber
        Star Saber
Reading order can be a pain sometimes. Technically Metal did take place before the end because they did a crossover with the main League title and other DCU titles. I purposely try to block continuity from my head sometimes when I know a story is meant to have murky connection to the current continuity, Metal being one of them and stuff like Whedon's Astonishing X-Men is another.

        Omegashark18
True, but that likely stems from the fact that it took so long to finish.

Just with all the post Metal labeling with the new Justice League comics makes it easy to place it. Not to mention the other comics such Wonder Woman and all the new hero stuff as well.

On the mention of X-Men, I think I’m going to utilize Comicbook Herald for figuring out a reading order. Once I have everything that is.

I especially enjoyed the opening scene with the trinity in the bar.

You don’t get any bigger then the Celestial’s the reason superheroes exist in the MU.

While that was alright, I felt the issue was a bit lacking and spent too much time on the set-up. For a better Avengers launch issue, I would recommend checking out Kurt Busiek and George Perez's Avengers #1 from 1998. It's collected under the storyline Avengers: The Morgan Conquest if I'm not mistaken.

It’s more then likely to pick up steam. This is Jason Aaron after all.

And believe me, I intend to read that, it’s the start of the modern era. All I have to do is get it. Not to mention the classic essentials.

That’s true, I still believe in Aaron so I’ll definitely be waiting for what he has to show.
