hey, i just wanted to stop by and tell you how much of a kick-ass artist you are. Back in the day when I saw your Energon Scorponok, I thought it was the coolest thing and still do.

I'm finally confident enough to try such a thing. I've just finished painting the "Spurt Reynolds" inspired Scorponok. He took me 20+ hours to do, and I'm really satisfied with him.

I just wanted to say thank you for being one of the people who greatly inspired me to pick up such a wonderful hobby. And for displaying such amazing pieces of work, so people like me can learn from them.

Hey Spurt,

I'm sure your asked questions like this all the time so I hope you don't mind. I've never had any luck painting Transformers (paint rub and all that). Do you prime or sand? Do you put a varnish coat on at the end? How do you find the Games Workshop paints? Do they adher well to the Transformers plastic? Lot of paint rub?
