Yeah. Originally, Michael Crichton only wrote it as a stand-alone book, but he knew that Spielberg wanted to make a sequel, so he went ahead and wrote The Lost World a few years before the movie was made. Unfortunately, the movie ended up being very different from the book.

You could probably go to your library or any bookstore and buy both novels, as they're extremely well-known and successful.

As much as I love the movies, I'd have to say that the novels are even better.

Oh yeah, I'm thinking that just about every TF name imaginable is probably taken by now. You can search by member name and see which ones are used. The G1 names went pretty quick over a decade ago.

Even though I don't post too much, I've been on this board since about the year 2000. I'm probably one of the 1st 50-100 members of this board actually. Glad to have gotten it since Thundercracker has been my favorite TF since 1984!
