Thanks for posting that bootlegged Human Alliance Soundwave review.

I've been sitting on the fence on whether to buy that. You've helped me make up my mind, good sir.

I once visited a shop in NYC that had about 4 Mudflaps, but it was before I collected HA's, and I wasn't sure if it was a KO or not, since it was in Chinatown. $25 a piece, man. I could kick myself for not buying one.

But that sounds awesome. Definitely going to grab that!

Awesome man! If it comes down a little bit in price, I'll definitely pull the trigger on it. Now if only they'd KO Mudflap!

I am not sure as I've only read the quote. From what I gathered, it's from a book called "Writing for Children" or something like that. Another line from the book ( I'm paraphrasing since I don't have the quote handy ) was about how if you stop enjoying fables and in exchange for more serious literature, you haven't actually grown. Just changed. In order to grow, you have to keep what you liked in your youth and just add to it the new stuff. It's really good. I'm sure if you google around a bit, you can find more info.

I don't think you're interpreting it wrong. I was actually referring to the well meaning Christians who use the scripture verse "when I became a man, I put away childish things" to say I should stop watching cartoons, reading comics, and collecting toys. C.S. Lewis in that quote was saying what I always thought that verse meant. Put away childish THINKING. C.S. Lewis is saying that only the childish think about whether something is adult or not. True adult thinking is to just like what you like and forget about thinking if it's "childish" or not.

Ah, thanks for the head's up. I asked another member about it, and I'm waiting to hear back. No biggie, but it's one of the few left that is unresourced at this point....

Hey, thanks for the head's up there. Feel free to review what's there and give me your thoughts, since you were at least halfway there in the thinking process at one point.
