It's hard to say. Harry Potter has had a very big fan base starting with kids and allowing the viewers/readers to grow up with them. I don't see why something similar could work with Transformers.

Super 8 had a darling cast of characters too. Transformers film production crew could learn a thing or two from that movie!

Yeah, I guess leave it the way it is. I wonder what the forth one is going to be like. I personally like to go back to the Transformers and a couple of kids route again. Scenario worked good in TF1, E.T., Aliens, Terminator 2, Super 8, Flight of the Navigator.......I think that's the charm the last two movies are missing.

I was just spewing out some tongue in cheek. Yeah, I really don't understand why they couldn't have kept the character still. Hell, all they had to do was dye Rosie's hair dark brown, and they could just come up with this bullshit that she was hanging with Ironhide for the reason for her accent (with each movie, Ironhide had a definite accent going on) I don't know. Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg made me a fan of Transformers with the first one, and I have actually like Bay's films prior, but since ROTF, he's left a very sour taste in my mouth. I've usually like the female characters in his movies, but DOTM, I don't know what the hell happened. Meary was good, I liked her, but Carly was a total miss!

Hey, thanks for not beating me up! Yeah, now I know why they had to change characters altogether for Sam's love interest. Mikaela would never have gone along with Dylan's flirting, and she sure as hell wouldn't let the Decepticons use her to take advantage of Sam! I still loved her "kiss this bitch!" It's funny, with all of them damn guys, she was the only one that had any balls!

I am almost afraid to say anything about this on the sites, it's almost a crime to actually like Mikaela, (Mikaela and Megan Fox are two different entities) but I thought there was more chemistry between Mikaela and Bee than Sam and Bee?????? I loved it when Mikaela totally defied Lennox in the first movie, putting Bee's life over hers! It showed some genuine strength in the character! Now, we have Carly and Sam both treating Bee as a car! It's why if you ever see Carly vs Mikaela threads, I prefer Mikaela, and now you know why! She risked her life to save Bee, I didn't see Carly as nothing more than a damsel in distress! Mikaela whupped ass. Disfigured two Decepticons and killed a third!!!!!

Just added you as a friend. I'm sorry I didn't sooner. I was trying to befriend as many Sideswipe fans as I could find, I guess I missed you. Sorry. But yeah, everyone around me has Bumblebee as their favorite too. I love Optimus Prime, absolutely love the guy, I wouldn't change or trade his movie version for no one! But I definitely think there are other Autobots that could offer more in the line of character development than Bumblebee.. Sideswipe's antihero would be perfect! Bumblebee, he's too much of a goody tooshoos for me. I don't like how Sam treats him either. He's not a car, and he's not your car buddy, he's a person and needs to be treated as one!
