I've seen the trailers; I'm looking forward to seeing it, tho I'm more curious than excited - I'm no purist, but I think I'll always enjoy the comic far more regardless, just because that's the medium its designed for.

Visually, I think the film it looks excellent; hopefully the charcterisation and writing measures up.

Have you seen the tv spots yet? Watchmen is confirmed as rated 18 over here. (Given the BBFC's contemporary rating system based on morality, rather than swearing, sex and violence) I am really, suddenly excited for this film.
