Continued.....

The problem I had was I was not pressing the hood of the car back far enough under the windshield and this then allows his folded ankle kibble hinge to lock into the gap between the crotch hinge - I didn't even realize that the two squarish panels on the underside (the ones with a nail headed pin in them) actually fitted in that slot or that it was even supposed to be a slot at all.

Now I have realised that the cars lock together perfectly - which is wonderful surprise and immediately raises all the related toys in my estimation a couple of points.

If I am not explaining myself properly then I can take some photos.

I was reading what you said in the Terrorcon Cliffjumper feedback thread :
