He usually keeps his appearance constant, but he wouldn't be above putting on a disguise, or changing his look if he was dealing with customers who would be leery of dealing with a Transformer.

And yes, dummies are one of his signatures... every time a law enforcement agency thinks they've caught him, all they get is a sparkless dummy. To the point where some wonder if he even has a real body.

Hey Pol. Because of the fact that Sideways never appears to his customers or even his agents, can he change his appearance to anyone?

And can he send robots that look like him but are dummies?

Well, the rules CAN be flexible if need be, but I'll need to know more about what you've planned. These are the basics:

1. Sideways cannot be killed.

2. Sideways cannot be captured, seriously wounded, detained or otherwise have anything happen that would prevent him from appearing in other comics.

3. Sideways cannot be put permanently out of business. Local operations can be shut down, but never the whole organization.

4. Sideways cannot ally himself with any one faction. He's a businessman, and his relationships are purely business. He will sell to both sides of a conflict if he can. He DOES rent out the use of his henchmen, and their loyalty is purely based on whether their new employer is making their payments on time. He bears no grudge against Autobot, Decepticon, Predacon or Maximal. He does, however, always deal in good faith... once a deal has been made, he will honor it as long as his customer does. Breaking a deal with Sideways is a BAD idea.

5. Sideways never engages in combat. We never get to see what capabilities Sideways has. He will ALWAYS have powerful henchmen to fight for him. If cornered, he will quite calmly produce some deux ex machina escape option, and be gone.

6. Sideways' organization exists across realities and genres... he is equally capable of trading with toy universes and 'real' ones. He has hired muscle from many different universes, that he will use as his agents in the field.

7. Most law enforcement agencies know about Sideways' operation, and want him shut down.

Hey, Pol? What was the rules for using Sideways in other comics? I have an enormous idea involving him in my comic later on, but it involves him being actualy present throughout an entire sequence. If you need to know more let me know and I'll PM you.

No, Warring and Play is current, I just usually update once a week. I tend to go for big updates rather than one-pagers like some others, so my updates are further apart.

As for the red x's... sometimes photobucket has bandwidth issues... try reloading the page, and they'll usually come up eventually.

I'm just wondering, the Funnies-thread you have on here, WaP, have you cancelled that project, or are you still in work? I'm currently pondering on putting this thread in my web browser's Favourites, but I don't want a cancelled project to take up space in it.

Also, I can't help to notice, several of your panels in the thread are of the classical "White box with Red Cross over" type. This Is sad I believe, as your comics is made of Pure WIN.
