You may (or may not) have seen deceptihunter's work in Radicons. He's one of the guys in our NC@TFW local group. My friend, Dormamu, has met up with him and been hanging out with him already, and he's a really cool guy. I talked to him on the phone for the first time Sunday night, and it was just so cool to hear him talk about how excited he was about his work. He's absolutely ENTHRALLED with making customs. It's one of the most refreshing things in the world because he's just doing it because he loves to do it. I can't wait to meet him.

That's cool you got HA Barricade though trades. sodawilly picked on up for me a while back, but I ended up selling it to a local friend (cost+shipping, of course) since he couldn't find one (and I had picked one up on my way back home). We've got a good group of NC guys on here, a few of which have become very close friends of mine

I hear ya on the HA figures. I've gotten a soft spot for Sideways, in case you haven't noticed from my posts in Radicons and so forth; he just went out like a punk. Hasbro will be running out of vehicles from the movies soon even if they do Jazz and your suggestions (which rock). Boy, I'd hate for them to move past the movies with them

With a bit of a lull (and working a better job full-time), I've gotten back into G1 collecting. It's been a dream of mine to just have the US run completed anyways. Pretenders are a lot more expensive that I counted on though. I've went through my G1-Cybertron collection and gathered up quite a few things to sell. I'm hooking my two local friends up first with some deals, then I'll move on to Junkion later this summer I imagine.

Carefully pick your Divebomb.....I had to sort thru them to get the best looking one.....some of the white paint apps aren't that good....

I too want to get the little Skystalker dude....he looks pretty cool.

I still have yet to see a HA Barricade in the stores....got mine thru a trade here for the newest ani stuff (Arcee and Ratchet) and yeah, that Arcee has pretty much vanished near me....saw four Ratchets the other day, but no Arcee's....you know the scalpers got a hold of those.

I hope they do a HA Jolt and Sideways....even a HA Ice Cream Truck set would be killer!!....they should be able to fit two deluxed sized figures into the size of the current HA scale....

I had to pass on Divebomb the other day due to insufficent funds. I found him with Skystalker and Scattershot. I was after Skystalker (which I did get) since I had just gotten Mindwipe just a short time ago. A friend of mine locally and I are going out tonight, so I'm hoping to find Divebomb myself.

I found Barricade myself on my way back home from TN. He is quite the figure. I've also been wanting to pick up at least one more, but I just want to wait for others to have a chance to get one as well, since they're just now hitting here. Oddly, the guys around here aren't scalping him like they are Animated Arcee (sodawilly picked up one for me ). As for squads of police cars, I have no clue what you're talking about

Lockdown is GREAT. Brawn is really cool too. I just got them through a trade with the same local friend I mentioned. Brawn is definitely a "movie" toy, but Lockdown will fit nicely with the rest of my Classics-Universe figures

Human Alliance is great, but it's still missing the icing that Alts/BTs had with the scaling and modeling things, imo (like chrome grills and rubber tires). Sideswipe gets a bad rap, as I really like the figure. BB and Skids are great, and I'm in the same boat with you (again) with anticipation for HA figures *cough cough*Jazz*cough cough*

I recently picked up ROTF Divebomb....love that little bi plane!! I also was able to score a HA Barricade....that dude is really really cool. Best one IMO. I think I may try to get more of him.....nothin wrong with a squadron of police cars!!!....RIGHT?!

Other than that, I'm after ROTF Deluxe Lockdown, and of course waiting on the next HA figs to be released.....

So what TFs are you getting now?

The new Pk custom sounds even more awesome than the last time we talked about it. I can't wait to see/hear more about the contest entry. Make those boys work for it!

I have to say that I've become more and more attached to chansformers' work. He's pretty incredible We've really been spoiled over the last few years with quality work.

Yeah, I knew you'd heckle me about the "snow", which is why I sent 'em to ya. My truck doesn't have 4 wheel drive (that and rear wheel drive are the two main things I don't like about it), so I got stuck a couple of times. Fortunately, Dad pulled me out with the tractor. His tractor was on two wheels at one point popping a wheelie

I'm still unpacking, etc. Customs are still on hold (and will be) for a little while. The mailbox was a project though It's up now, and looks nice

Still plugging away on Wikkified Plowking.....(re) engineering some stuff to make it easier to tf. And I'm working on a top secret project for TFCon 2010....Lord willing, I'll get to debut him there at the contest....you know, trying to give Stu and Otis a little competition from the state side.

Well, the job actually turned out to be 10 X easier than I expected. I had to get the rest of the post out of the ground first. My celebration will be short lived once I get a replacement and attempt the fix . . . .

Oh man, what little bit of snow I've endured here recently both here and my trip back to TN to see the folks has officially made me sick of snow for the rest of my life on earth. It's no wonder that you like to plow snow. I would too if my loathing for it continues

BTW, how're the customs coming with you? I'm still unpacking, etc. here . . . . len_69 posted a photo of his Alt Sideburn in Cool Stuff a little while ago today. I prepped a Viper right before we moved here. He's right there boxed up with the other 9 wips I have
