So, a clip is like what you would put into a M1-Garand and a magazine is what you would put in a M16?

They're not the same goddamn thing goddamn it! Design wise and functionally, they're completely different and not interchangeable at all! I blame Hollywood and video games for this.

Can you please explain the difference?

As much as so many guys on here say "I know guns.." They don't know shit. That's when I read your post, and was like..YEP..hes with me..

I have a massive collection. Mostly handed down after my dad died when I was a kid. I been shooting since I was 5. My collection is a few hunting, target rifles, and skeet guns, But the bulk of my collection is military rifles 1900 on. Some highlights..IH M1 Garand Korean war numbers, WWI Issued P17 (all my buds call it the widowmaker. you just CANNOT miss with it.) UZI Pistol, COlt, Rock river, DPMS, and Wyndham arms ARs, German G29o stamped 1939 with initials and "xs" carved in the stock with the Swastika and eagle stamps..

If you wanna see some of my stuff, look at me FB Dave Lovelock im in Michigan.

I am an NRA lifetime member (If you EVER want a membership, I will sponsor you and get it to you for CHEAP)

When I see a guy type..

I'm a weapons guy. I carry a gun for self defense and a knife for EDC utility. My knife is a 20 dollar Kershaw Chill, which uses 8CR13MOV steel for the blade. It's a pretty good steel with good edge retention, perfect for what I use it for. However, there is a super premium steel out there called S30V. S30V is of a materials quality so high that it's usage in a knife alone is enough to skyrocket the price of a knife. My 20 dollar Chill, if it used S30V steel, would easily be 70-80 bucks.

I have to send a friend request.
