It's a some random Gundam Stand that came with one of my 1/144 Gundam kits...it's pretty much just proping her up too...not really supporting her or anything
It's.... okay. I mean, it's written well enough, but it doesn't have the... I guess the word is "charm" that X-Men: Evolution had. They're just throwing a ridiculous amount of characters at you, to the point where I really can't seem to care much about any of them. Only Wolverine and to a lesser extent Nightcrawler, Xavier, Quicksilver, and Beast have gotten any real amount of characterization, IMO. And Toad has gone from being my favorite character in Evo to just plain annoying. No real funny sub-plots, just fairly slow-moving action that takes up 2/3rds of every episode. Plus it's just sorta the comics all over again-- aliens, really futuristic stuff, all that "out there" stuff that I think subtracts from what makes a concept like the X-Men so good. The show's good enough where I'll watch each ep once, but I'm not exactly counting down the days to the next episode like I was for Evo and am currently for Animated.
P.S. I've been meaning to tell you, I just found out a few days ago. It's not a DVD release, but it's the next best thing-- X-Men: Evolution Season 4 is on iTunes. I haven't downloaded them yet so I don't know how good the quality is-- I'm hoping they're good enough where I can burn them to a DVD and watch them on the big screen to replace my rapidly-degrading VCR tapes.
