Oh 'sup dude, just saw you question and I got the answer.
Hasbro said that the reason for the underpaid QC lately was because they tried to keep the toys the same price (Deluxe as 9,99 for example) even with the rising price of materials, but thankfully the raise to 12 bucks for deluxe etc. was made to fix the QC problems.
