It will, but just remember that nail polish remover is a lot harsher than alcohol, because it contains acetone. Basically, nail polish remover is H20 + acetone. Long story short is that acetone by itself melts (it's the reactant for dying figures, since it melts the plastic enough to allow a part to take dye).

I only use nail polish remover for paint that's very hard to remove. For things like faction symbols, I'd highly recommend just using alcohol.
