Bumblebee and Brainstorm. Megatron was a clunky mess and Gnaw just didn't do it for me.

In the Aligned fiction (Prime, RiD) she was specially chosen by Primus to be on Earth and hunt Decepticons I think. She has two swords for some reason, Literally the first episode that introduced her was mainly about how awesome and cool she was.

She may be bad in IDW right now, but I think she was probably worse in that show.

Silly me, I should have clarified. The Windblade that appeared in the RiD Cartoon was definitely a Sue, and possibly her Combiner Wars appearance may be too. Even though she's not technically that way in IDW, there's a chance she could still become one.

I'm quickly growing tired of her IDW portrayal as well. I wanted to like Windblade, but they've really dropped the ball with her.

Yeah, to be honest. While I think a good story could be told about a war with Combiners, I just have my doubts that this will be it.

I wanted to like Windblade (Same with Victorion), I really did. But the way that Windblade has been utilized has been terrible. People still try to argue that Drift was anywhere near this level, but he wasn't even close.

I also have my doubts about Victorion, maybe I'll be surprised? But I have a feeling we may get another Windblade-like character. No thanks. The term "Mary Sue" describes a character like Rey from Star Wars: The force awakens. Over the years, people have sometimes used the term to describe a character they simply don't like, but that doesn't necessarily make them a Sue.

I may sound a bit pessimistic, but I'm going in with low expectations. If its better than expected, than it'll be a pleasant surprise.

If not? Then nothing of value will be lost.
