Galvatron II, it's good to see you back here. I enjoyed your review of TLK and think you make some damn good points and agree with most (although not all) of them. Either way, whether I agree or disagree with what you say it is always interesting reading your posts.

On the scale of 1 to 10 How badass do you consider Galvatron II of Marvel Comics?
Would like to see him in current media?

I see now. I saw French revolution and got hyped. But yeah it sounds kind of like his depiction in the Allspark Almanac, and maybe a bit of marvel US. Either way I like the sound of it.
    9. Coffee
Well at least we know it'll be better than AOE. :lol

But yeah, this sounds like some good stuff. Especially the French Revolution allusion for Straxus' empire. I eat that stuff up.

Anyways the arc format sounds like the right way to go, and I'm definitely excited about this myself. I'll be looking forward to it.

A shame about 2014. I mean, I thought it was good, albeit borrowing heavily from other fiction like escalation and maybe a bit of dotm. But I still think it was the best fanfic on the site. This may or may not be saying much depending on your perspective on the faniction forums...

So far I'm really liking that premise. It kind of reminds me of a reverse Animated, if that makes any sense. I'm a big fan of spacefaring transformers, and the idea of Optimus Prime being hunted throughout the galaxy actually isn't all that far off from the focal point of my own shitty fic.

I don't mean to delve too deep but what other characters we'd expect to see? Any G2 folks? Regardless I'll be looking forward to it. I've been craving a fic recently and I'm a big fan of your characterization and dialogue.
    11. Coffee
Hey, I've been meaning to ask, are you ever going back to that fanfic? I don't mean to pressure you or anything, I'm just curious as to whether I should expect to see it again or not.
    12. MasterZero
      Best of luck, Galvy.

      Have a fun Thanksgiving, Galvy.

I'm thankful for our friendship, one that exists despite our differences in many things. I hope you have a wonderful time with family and friends. Eat well and enjoy yourself.

Also, something else I wanted to ask you, regarding the TF's designs, what would you personally do?
    15. MasterZero
      My mistake. Apologies.

I seem to remember you mentioning growing up in the UK, or currently residing there, but I might have been mistaken. Probably am, judging by you reaction. In which case, sorry for the mix up! In any case, just try and have a nice 31st.
    17. MasterZero
I've heard that Halloween isn't big over in the UK, and that's fine. All the same, have a nice October 31st, Galvy!

I heard the rumour going around this week. Nice to know it's confirmed.

We might still get something awful. But I'm sture it won't be as ostentatiously, virtuosically awful as Bay.
    19. SMOG
Meh. Such movies would just be discounted as "typical lefty agenda propaganda" or whatever.

I remember years ago, when I first came across a reviewer who savaged The Iron Giant purely on the basis of it being a "rabid lefty anti-gun propaganda film", I was sort of shocked. Like, wow... if that's your take-away from that wonderful kids' film, you really must be some kind of special miserable SOB.

Nowadays of course, nothing shocks me. "Stay out of the comments section" is increasingly becoming my mantra.

Arguably, those people have been voting for a long time (by that I mean, the fans, but also lots of people who already have that mindset). I suppose someone could argue that a sci-fi action movie is not going to "convert" anyone, but I think it is more insidious than that. It definitely reinforces these attitudes.

And of course some of this is opinion, but there are valid questions there... and a lot of the responses just aren't very smart (but for some reason, are convinced that they are).

If I see one more person using the  icon to parrot someone else because they can't articulate an idea on their own, I'm going to flip out. Serious echo chamber discourse there. :mad
