Hey, here I was thinking you were just ignoring me... I watched Samurai Champloo quite a while back but that was one of the last anime series I watched aside from all the Fullmetal Alchemist stuff. The wife actually liked FMA and we were wondering if there was anything else out there with a similar vibe. The xbox motto came from the song "kiss the bottle" by this band I loved called Jawbreaker. All about drinking your sorrows away. Needless to say I added that when I was like 21 and dealing with a tough break up.... never got around to changing it in 11 years. Good to hear from ya!

Ain't no "Alex", fool You mean Sam Alexander, the 15-year-old.

Marvel is all about Sam now as Nova. I could see them doing a Nova/Sam movie and targeting a younger audience, or introducing him as a subplot in another movie. If Richard Rider appears at all, it'll be as supporting cast.

But I doubt they'll use Rider at all. There's no Nova Corps yet, and when the Novas get created, they'll have to come up with some reason one human gets unexpectedly selected. Doing that for two characters in one movie would seem awkward, and as I said, Marvel's all about Sam now.

Yeah I don't know why they bothered to use the Xandarians without any flying Nova super-dudes. Presumably they'll use this near-disaster as a reason to create some Nova dudes in a future movie.

Finally was able to see Guardians last night. It was awesome. Pretty much what I wanted it to be. The only way to make it better is to give Cosmo the Space Dog some dialog.

No I mean my mother-in-law and I am dumb.

I haven't looked at either of the third-party dino sets. It makes it easier to not buy them.

Might see it tonight. Kathy's mother-in-law is in town so she can babysit.

Glenn took his first steps last week. 2-3 short steps, but still counts. Hasn't stepped since then, though.

Got hardwood floor installed last week in our living room and dining room. Had to move everything we own into the two bedrooms and then leave town for a week. When we came back, everything was covered in a thin layer of fine sawdust. EVERYTHING. Should have everything cleaned up and moved back probably by November.

Really want to see it, but haven't been able to make it happen yet. Stupid baby.

I did buy all the TFCon exclusives, but I don't know why I did that. I'll probably play with the trucks for 25 minutes and then sell them. Keeping the cassette, though.
