I see your current promo and for some reason find myself singing.

      Awesome update :)

I've got a rough plotline and some directions of where I want to go. My story is very much that - it's not dependent upon anything directly. I think a lot of the characters will draw on their original counterparts, but it's not tied to those universes in any way. In fact, one aspect of my story is that I want to reinvent the wheel a little bit. I want it to be "alien" - not as in "outer space", but as in "unfamiliar". I want my story to go from unfamiliar to comfortable familiar.

I hope things settle down for you soon!

Thanks for the props on my illustrations. I have to admit I'm just a bit rusty right now. I've got some story ideas, but I just need to get rolling. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is start!

My goal has always been to illustrate a comic. Mainly, I prefer to draw using physical models as reference. I started this with Alternators Ricochet (and it even previews a custom for him :)):

Whereas, this is an example of me sitting away from home with no reference material (though I was just sketching on notebook paper):

I'd say these are a middle ground of the two examples above:

I use Photoshop to color my illustrations for the most part, and what I would end up coloring, that would be my typical process.

Certainly, thanks so much for offering your help! I think right now my main struggle is storytelling things. I've got basic plots and direction, but not specifics. I'd love to chat with you sometime about this and other stuff :)

Yeah, the Grapple head has a socket from the bottom (like most TFs) whereas the KO BT Hummer has the socket on the back of the head going into the head (towards the eyes).

Again, thanks so much for the props on my work - I'm really thrilled that you (or anyone) looks through and enjoys my work on any level :)

Also, you keep that comic rockin' and rollin', bud. Your work there is a great inspiration to my own, as one of my goals with my customs is to have the same for them someday. I have some basic things worked out, but nothing as intricate as what you've got going on yet.

Hello mate. I was wondering if you could tell me the name of that awesome 'sparks explosion' brush for GIMP. I'd like to shamelessly pilfer it :p

      Hope you're having a great 2011.

      thanks a million!

though i think i noticed an extra [enter] space between the synopsis and the "about author" part.

i don't mean to be a butt, or a Dennis the menace or anything, but i sent you a private message concerning my comic being added to the table of contents.
i was wondering if you got it, and i'd like to make sure that it didn't get lost in the shuffle or anything.:)

unlike the one from last year, the new post has the correct format and was spellchecked.:D

just letting you know I did another quick update of my comic. One right on the heels of the other...must be crazy. Cheers.

Oh.. I didn't know you replied on your profile page.. :lol The Iron Man 2 movie isn't as great as the first. It's still great with action, though not enough of it. :D And the story could've been better..

Nevertheless, momentary scenes of Scarlet Johanssen kick butts (wish she had more screen time!) and the transforming suitcase (Mark V suit) were big pluses for the movie. Hope you get a chance to watch it. It's still fantastic! :thumb
