I see your current promo and for some reason find myself singing.

"Whoh-oh oh you sig lies in dust."
I'm listening to THAT song too much. Where did you get the picture from though?

    Awesome update

I've got a rough plotline and some directions of where I want to go. My story is very much that - it's not dependent upon anything directly. I think a lot of the characters will draw on their original counterparts, but it's not tied to those universes in any way. In fact, one aspect of my story is that I want to reinvent the wheel a little bit. I want it to be "alien" - not as in "outer space", but as in "unfamiliar". I want my story to go from unfamiliar to comfortable familiar.

I hope things settle down for you soon!

Thanks for the props on my illustrations. I have to admit I'm just a bit rusty right now. I've got some story ideas, but I just need to get rolling. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is start!

My goal has always been to illustrate a comic. Mainly, I prefer to draw using physical models as reference. I started this with Alternators Ricochet (and it even previews a custom for him ): http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transf...ightstick.html

Whereas, this is an example of me sitting away from home with no reference material (though I was just sketching on notebook paper): http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transf...k-seekers.html

I'd say these are a middle ground of the two examples above: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transf...specified.html
    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transf...s-wrecker.html

I use Photoshop to color my illustrations for the most part, and what I would end up coloring, that would be my typical process.

Certainly, thanks so much for offering your help! I think right now my main struggle is storytelling things. I've got basic plots and direction, but not specifics. I'd love to chat with you sometime about this and other stuff

Yeah, the Grapple head has a socket from the bottom (like most TFs) whereas the KO BT Hummer has the socket on the back of the head going into the head (towards the eyes).

Again, thanks so much for the props on my work - I'm really thrilled that you (or anyone) looks through and enjoys my work on any level

Also, you keep that comic rockin' and rollin', bud. Your work there is a great inspiration to my own, as one of my goals with my customs is to have the same for them someday. I have some basic things worked out, but nothing as intricate as what you've got going on yet.
