My first base was at Loring AFB, Maine. Stategic Air Command. So we all considered ourselves SAC-trained Killer-Photographers! Lots of studio shots, material deficiency reports, grips and grins, accident photogs. I fell into a stream filled with jet fuel in front of Rep. Snow of Maine. In Spain my favorite jobs were in the morgue. Gotta say, the human body is a most fascinating and marvalous machine! Also documented Desert Shield/Storm. Some of my stuff is in the national achives. Met my husband un Spain. Had to go to Spain to Meet a guy from Baltimore. I left after a year at Peterson AFB in Co Springs. Mostly grips and grins there...boring. After the singular delight of crawling through the fuel cells of a KC-135,at Loring, nothing can possibly compare. Even if it IS taking the official portrait of the NORAD Commander in Chief. What did you think of the new movie? I'm stunned...and really dissapointed.

What did you photograph while you were in the service?

Yup! I was a photographer. Best thing I ever did for myself. The AF gave me a purpose, a career and a new view on patriotism. I was an honor to serve.
