Thank you for taking measurements and was that for the truss head screw to connect the hands to the figure? the truss head?

I double-checked the measurements I sent you in the other post. The ones you need are labeled “Large Screw Near Thumb” or the screws near the back of the hand that connect to the ball joint connector.

        Large Screw Near Thumb
        Length - 7.80mm
        Post Diameter - 1.72mm
        Screw Pitch - 0.88mm
        Screw Head - 3.16mm

        Small Screw Near Fingers
        Length - 4.89mm
        Post Diameter - 1.88mm
        Screw Pitch - 1.18mm
        Screw Head - 3.58mm

One last final thing I promise but whats the thread pitch on the hand screw?

Define thread pitch for me. My machine working skills are amateurish at best.

I think it would be "The thread pitch is the distance between corresponding points on adjacent threads."

Is there a way to find an exact copy or replicate that screw?

I think watch screws may be the closest to getting the screw post diameter exact. I haven’t been able to take the measurements yet. Amazon does sell a wide variety of smaller sized screws. The only thing will be getting the screw head matched.

the one screw on the right for both hands. and thank you very much for dissembling them and being specific on which one.

sorry for not responding earlier on that message for some reason I'm getting messages that I'm posting spam. and I need three links and when I tried that it says I need ten posts without a link to prevent spam which is a little confusing but whatever, I at least hope you get this message.

Hi. No problem. I’ll have to dig Star Saber out of the garage and do the hand post.

I just checked the excel sheet and the hand screw post is on the list in bold. Did you need another hand screw?

Thank you so much for your help, just one last question, I know the one in the hand is a truss head but what about the one in the upper and lower elbow?
      1. Agent 539
        Agent 539
The two elbow screws are regular screw heads.

I have the KFC upgrade kit that included stronger springs, poseable hands and a longer sword blade. It’s a very well done set.

I actually have that kit but something went wrong when installing and I was trying to find specific screws to replace the ones from the elbow, so then I find you on the forums and you helped me out a lot and now I'm currently trying to find the specific screws if anyone has them. Do you know where I can find the ones you highlighted for me?

At this time, I don’t know of many places to buy screws of that size. I hear that hobby machine shops would be the best place for them. I’ve found a bunch of screws on Amazon, but a lot are for watch repair. I didn’t have a caliper then, so I took my chances and bought a bunch of worthless screws.

The screw sizes would help narrow the search down. But outside of that, I don’t know where to find them.

Quick question do you happen to know the exact screws used for MP-24 Star Saber?

I just took measurements of the tiny brain unit, the mini Saber figure and the Star Saber shell. There are about 15 different screw sizes. I’ll put it into an Excel sheet and send it to you.

Does the wall color name have anything to do with story, "Mines of Fallun"?
      1. Agent 539
        Agent 539
I’m not sure I ever answered this. I’m familiar with the story, but my walls resemble more of a butterscotch color. I’ll have to search for the real name if I still have the paint card/can of paint.

Thanks man. The paint on the wall is supposed to look like "Falun red", a paint from the copper mines of Sweden, since I am a "suecophile". You can download the name plates and print them out yourself by clicking on the link in my sig!
